Boom Cache Share Account:

A savings program especially for teens. It is designed to introduce young people 13-17 to the world of personal finance. Open this account with a minimum $5 deposit. Dividends are earned when balance of $50, or greater, is left on deposit on a daily basis. Dividends are paid on a monthly basis. Free Internet access to Googolplex and Guides to Independence where teens can research and learn fun facts about responsible money management.

The Boom program also includes a free Pocket Cache Debit Card transaction account that allows teens to make purchases at any retail or service outlet where VISA is accepted (including the internet). Teens may even be able to customize the picture on their debit card. Pocket Cache looks like a credit card but debits funds for purchases directly from your Pocket Cache account. A parent or guardian must give approval and be a joint owner on the Pocket Cache account. However parent or guardian's name does not need to appear on the card. No minimum deposit or balance is required to open the account, and no monthly service fees are incurred. Additional services are available.

In compliance with Federal Regulation D; six free withdrawals are permitted per month on Simple, Basic, Kid's Cache, Boom Cache Share accounts and Money Market accounts. After six withdrawals, a withdrawal fee will be charged per transaction - see the Pricing Guide for details.
