Exciting Stations

This year we have over 18 exciting stations for you to visit. Kids fill out their Passport to Safety with stamps from our stations, then turn it in to win great prizes! Kids will learn important safety tips and practices from the local Police Departments, Fire Departments, Animal Shelter and MAC bus line. Kids and parents can also meet our local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts , and sign up to be a part of a troop. Wander around and check out fire engines, law enforcement vehicles, the Smoke Safety House, and a Fire Safety Slide!

Bike Rodeo and FREE Helmets

Weave your way through the cones in our Bike Rodeo! FREE helmets (paid for by Kinross Fort Knox ) are provided by Volunteers in Policing to those kids that need one, and FREE bike checkups are provided by Goldstream Sports.

Spirit of Alaska Society of Smart Youth

Parents have the opportunity to learn more about SASSY (Spirit of Alaska's Society of Smart Youth) , a financial literacy program for young people from kindergarten to high school. We are starting conversations about online safety and financial literacy, while providing fun and interactive online games. Kids have the opportunity to open a savings account and earn prizes and cash awards as they complete financial education achievements.

Grand Prize Drawings

Kids can enter to win a bike courtesy of Goldstream Sports or R.E.I. upon successful completion of their Safety Passport.
